ABOUT ME

I was born in Istanbul, Turkey. I was graduated from Bogazici University Philosophy Department in 2003. I continued Leicester College Diploma Program of Footwear Manufacture and Design in Istanbul. For two years, in this program, I had learned and practised every step of shoe design, manufacture and marketing. I worked as intern in development departments and shoe production lines at Inci Shoe A.S. (Istanbul) and at Hotic Shoe A.S. (Istanbul). In 2006, I had attended Design of Leather Footwear courses at Moda Pelle Fashion Academy in Milan, Italy. There, I learned about Italian design culture, fashion and luxury leather shoe design. During and after my training, I had fifteen years of experience in footwear design, buying and production. I worked in ladies, men and kids retail chains including C&A Buying GmbH (Dusseldorf), LC Waikiki A.S. (Istanbul) and Elle Shoe A.S. (Istanbul). Currently, I am proud to celebrate my 15th year in footwear industry. I speak English, German, French and Italian other than my native language Turkish.
